Hi everyone and welcome to Enzo’s Acres Blog Dogter !
With all the expanding Enzo’s has done over the last few years; adding more board and train dogs, boarding and day-care, group classes, pack experiences, more adoptions…. We stay focused on our mission. Helping people and saving dogs!
Today we start our first Blog Dogter post! This is another way we can answer your questions and help you with your dogs. I often get pm’s from you all in regards to specific struggles you are having. But what I realize is these struggles are not as individual as one thinks. Your struggles are everyones struggles. With this new Blog Dogter we will be able to take your questions/struggles and help others who may not have asked the question.
When Enzo’s Acres began I was hurting and I needed to focus my pain. For months I searched for help and all roads seem to be dead-ends. With my mind clearing I realized I could help, although I did not know what “help” meant, I knew I could do something. I was watching people struggle and often give up. I knew giving up was not the answer, trust me I wanted to give up too. My love for people and my need to save dogs was the direction I needed to go. I am a very private person who found it beyond hard to ask for help. But watching “Brene Brown The Power of Vulnerability Speech”. I gave myself permission to help. I allowed myself to be vulnerable ,to open up. I quit seeing weakness in being vulnerable, and began seeing it as powerful. So when I say it’s ok to ask for help, I really do understand how hard that is for many of us.
The power of the Blog Dogter is we can all help each other. What are your super-powers? Maybe you can help someone just by asking a question of giving a word of encouragement. We have an intrinsic need to belong, to feel a part of. Lets make the Blog Dogter a safe place for us to be vulnerable and get the help we need. These are real people with real problems lets all ban together and show support.
We will be posting new Blog Dogters weekly, new topics, new discussions, new solutions. Let’s give those of us who need hope a productive avenue to get solid guidance. Remember at Enzo’s Acres we believe your world should be bigger not smaller.
