Reactive Dog Group and People Training Too: This is one of my favorite classes because I used to be here and I remember feeling as if I had no where to turn. My Cane Corso, Gia growled at her first person at 7 weeks old! I went to many trainers and groups looking for help and never found any help. I was determined to figure it out, and I did! Now I share with you all how to properly correct and teach a new way of being to your reactive dog. I help you build your relationship and leadership skills. You can be in charge, you just need the proper tools, which begins with YOU! Your state of mind and your confidence. This group is a safe place to work through this sh..t.. And I coach you through the entire time. We keep these classes small so you get tons of one-on-one focus. No judgement, no negative talk. Just coaching to move past the things we get stuck on and the things our dogs have become conditioned to. Your dog must know: sit, down, place, and have some leash skills to join this class. If you are not there yet, we can do private lessons first.
Relationship Building Group: Not your typical Group class. We actually teach you to build your relationship and leadership skills with your dog and we happen to use some obedience work. You must first understand the importance of a dogs learning and communication skills to then build on the solid foundation. I want you to learn that distractions to dogs don’t matter if you make yourself really important, be the tool. Come join us on this journey to understanding and leadership, plus having an obedient dog! Canine Behavior for Humans
Puppy Obedience Class and Socialization : Not your typical “obedience” class. We actually teach you to build your relationship and leadership skills with your dog. We teach you how to use tools properly, the importance of touch, proper canine language, leash work, place command, crate/kennel training, potty training, sit, down and the importance of markers. When you graduate you will either go into the Beginning Companion Obedience Group or the Relationship Building Group. This will depend on where you and your puppy are with obedience commands.
Beginning Companion Obedience: Is your dog over 6 months old and lacks obedience? In this beginning class we teach you how to use tools properly: from using a leash to using food and proper use of markers. You can graduate out of this class quickly, if you do the work at home. This is a stepping stone to our Relationship Building Group.
Pack-Walks: These are designed to help you practice outside in a group setting and get some coaching along the way. Also a great way to meet people and find walking buddies! These are open to dogs who are in our Relationship Building Group and our Reactive Dog Group.
Play-N-Train: Designed for puppies who need proper social interaction. We supervise play and teach them how to play “nice”. Many dogs are taken so early from their mom and liter-mates that they lose a vital part of their social development. We help add that part back. We also teach obedience in between play time and work on potty training. Usually a 10:00 – 12:00 Monday and Wednesdays, must attend at least one group obedience class a week also.
